This week I will be doing a piece on value smokes. Today's cigar is the Gran Habano Vintage 2002 Robusto in a 5x50 vitola. The GH Vintage 2002 features a Corojo wrapper from Nicaragua from GH's 2002 crop yield. It features a Nicaraguan binder with Nicaraguan and Dominican long fillers. The GH Vintage 2002 is a woody, earthy smoke with a very slight sweetness. What it lacks in complexity it makes up for is solidarity. At $2 a pop you simply can not go wrong with the GH Vintage 2002 for a value smoke.
