Today brings us the Graycliff Double Espresso in a 4.5x54 Robusto vitola. Graycliff is a very unique company. Originally started as a 5 star hotel and restaurant in Nassau, Bahamas by Enrico Garzaroli. When Enrico decided to start a cigar line he partnered with Avelino Lara who is the legendary Cuban cigar roller who rolled Fidel Castro's personal cigars. The Double Espresso has a Costa Rican wrapper and binder with it's fillers consisting of Corojo, Ecuadorian Ligero and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The Double Espresso has flavors of chocolate, spice, cedar, coffee and a sweetness that really rounds it out nicely. I chose this to be today's cigar because of the whole Peyton Manning situation in Indy. The sports world will be needing plenty of double espresso to make it threw all the developments with where he's going to sign.
