The Empire III utilizes a Costa Rican Maduro wrapper with Dominican and Honduran long fillers. The Empire III isn't a Maduro powerhouse like many others on the market it is an elegant mild-medium bodied cigar. It's a creamy, chocolately, leathery cigar with additional flavors of classic tobacco and coffee. I chose this to feature today as Julius Cesar was assasinated on this day in 44 B.C. Julius Cesar was a famed Roman General and Dictator who played a major part in the rise of the Roman Republic into the Roman Empire.
