Today brings us the My Father El Hijo in a 5.5x52 vitola, which is it's only size. The El Hijo is a Smoke Inn Exclusive Cigar and is the third installment in their microblend series. It is a box pressed cigar with a shaggy foot. The El Hijo features a 2009 Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with it's fillers and binders coming from Nicaragua. You'll get a complex cigar with flavor notes of spice, pepper, cedar, chocolate, coffee with a sweetness and creaminess that rounds it out nicely. I chose this today to honor the groundbreaking of the Vietnam War Memorial on Mar 26th 1982. The memorial pays tribute to all the brave service members who gave their lives in service to their country in Vietnam. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten...
