With a heavy heart today brings us the Ashton ESG 22 Year Salute in a 6x52 Torpedo vitola. The ESG hails from the Dominican and features all Dominican tobaccos. It is an elegant cigar with flavors of wood, earth and leather at the core with nutty notes and a sweet and spicy finish. Today isn't about the cigar it is about one of the men behind it Manny Ferrero the Senior Vice President of Ashton. Manny passed away on Tuesday while attending the Tobacconists Association of America Convention in Los Cabos, Mexico. Manny was known as one of the best and most loving people in the industry.
