Today brings us the Alec Bradley Sun Grown in a 7x48 Churchill vitola. The Sun Grown is created exclusively for Famous Smoke Shop by Alec Bradley. It has a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, a Honduran binder and fillers from Nicaragua and Columbia. As with anything produced by Alan Rubin and his people the Sun Grown is a great cigar. You'll get flavors of rich natural tobacco, spice, coffee, earth, mint and a sweetness that brings us all together nicely. I chose this as today's cigar because today is the start of the 2012 NASCAR season with the Daytona 500. I have many great memories of long days in the sun going to races with my family growing up in TN by Bristol Motor Speedway.
