Jan 30th 2012 - Liga Privada T52
Today brings us the Liga Privada T52 Toro in a 6x52 vitola. The Liga Privada line is a major departure from what Drew Estate is known for, their infused cigars. After the success of the Liga Privada No. 9 Drew Estate released the T52. The T52 wrapper has a very unique curing process. It is stalk cut instead of having the leaf picked off of the stalk. Then the stalk is hung upside down which makes for a much longer curing process but it yields great results. It makes the American Habano wrapper very flavorful and powerful. It has Brazilian Mata-Fina binder and has a mix of Central American tobaccos for the fillers. The T52 gives you flavors of spice, pepper, creamy chocolate, wood, pepper and a sweetness that rounds out this very complex but well balanced cigar. I didn't have anything to tie into today and figured I'd keep on the Liga Privada theme from yesterday.

I have a few of these in my humidor both in this and robusto vitolas. Can't wait to smoke them sometime soon!
