Dec 26th 2011 - H. Upmann Sun Grown
This week I am going to be doing a countdown of the top 5 cigars that I tried this year. Today I will feature #5: The H. Upmann Sun Grown Magnum in a 6x54 vitola. The H. Upmann Sun Grown label features a Sun Grown Ecuadorian wrapper with a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro binder with Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. This cigar features great notes of classic tobacco, wood, spice and a nice sweetness to round it out and bring it all together. This cigar is a full bodied smoke and has even fuller flavors. What it lacks in complex changing flavors it makes up in a consistent flavor profile that has you looking forward to the next puff. If you haven't had a chance to smoke one of these and you get the chance to do it!
