Dec 15th 2011 - Perdomo Champagne Noir
Day 4 of contest week brings us the Perdomo Champagne Noir Figurado in a 4 3/4x56 vitola. The Champagne Noir's wrapper is triple fermented. Nick Perdomo put it as such “After carefully fermenting these thick Cuban‐seed Maduro wrappers for well over 14 months in a natural pilon, we age them an additional 6 months in oak bourbon barrels." Which makes this maduro very unique. The Champagne Noir is made of all Nicaraguan tobaccos which makes it a true Nicaraguan Puro. The Champagne Noir has flavor notes of coffee, cream, a cocoa sweetness, earth, wood and nuts that build and change prominence throughout. Thanks for the entry BigT06!

ReplyDeleteThanks guys!
ReplyDeleteGreat cigar, and I can't say enough about how nice of a guy Nick Perdomo is, I've spoken to him via email and he is so appreciative of his customers.
ReplyDeleteNick really is a stand up guy. Everything I've read about him and everything he does for cigars as a whole is just really impressive
