Nov 3rd 2011 - H. Upmann Sun Grown

Today's cigar is the H. Upmann Sun Grown Magnum in a 6x54 vitola. The H. Upmann Sun Grown label features a Sun Grown Ecuadorian wrapper with a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro binder with Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. This cigar features great notes of classic tobacco, wood, spice and a nice sweetness to round it out and bring it all together. While the flavors stayed consistent in my experience this cigar was just impressive. I chose it to be today's cigar because I really wanted to put this cigar out there and hopefully turn a few more people onto it as I don't hear much chatter about it. If you haven't had a chance to smoke one of these and you get the chance to do it!
