Nov 24th 2011 - Pinar Del Rio 1878 Cubano Especial Capa Madura

Thanksgiving brings us the Pinar Del Rio 1878 Cubano Especial Capa Madura in a massive vitola. I don't have the exact dimensions on it but it's hefty. The PDR 1878 Cubano Especial Capa Madura sports a Brazilian Maduro wrapper with a Dominican Criollo binder and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican. With great spice, leather, earth, wood and a chocolately sweetness this cigar is a medium bodied gem. I picked this for Thanksgiving due to the fact that it looks big and meaty but isn't a full bodied beast of a cigar. With all the distractions of the holiday let us not lose focus when looking at the big deals or big meals and remember that underneath it all that it's all about family.
