Nov 14th 2011 - 3 Finger Travel Case

Day 2 of gift guide brings us one of my favorite accessories that I have. Today I'd like to feature a 3 finger cigar travel case. This is a great case to throw some smokes in when heading to work, the bar, wherever. It's small enough to fit in your pocket but will still hold cigars up to a 52 ring gauge with no problems. I've found if you only put 2 in you can get 2 56 ring gauge cigars in them. There are hard shell and soft like the one pictured below. Either way your smokes will protected and kept fresh for hours. This is a perfect gift for any enthusiast. If you are interested in getting a small travel case email service@cigar.com and they will take great care of you. Tell them that TheDailyCigar sent you.

The cigars pictured are the Gurkha Royal Challenge, Tatuaje La Riqueza and the Room 101 Namakubi. I chose these 3 as they have all been very supportive of my blog and wanted to give them some extra publicity.

Nov 4th 2011 - Tatuaje La Casita Criolla

Today's cigar is the Tatuaje La Casita Criolla HCB Corona in a 5 1/8x42 vitola. The La Casita Criolla hails from Nicaragua with all it's tobaccos being Connecticut Broadleaf. This Maduro is a 100% American Puro. The La Casita Criolla is a great medium bodied experience with flavors of spice, cinnamon, and a chocolate sweetness that is all held together by a nutty core. This cigar is about as flavorful as they come. The term La Casita Criolla means The Little Native House in Spanish. I chose this to be today's cigar as I'm getting ready to head back to my "native house" and visit my family in a few weeks.

Oct 31st 2011 - Tatuaje The Wolfman

Today's cigar is Tatuaje's The Wolfman in its only size a 7.5x52 Torpedo. The Wolfman is the 4th cigar in Pete Johnson's famed Halloween Series. The Wolfman features a Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper with its binder and fillers coming from Nicaraguan. The construction is amazing on this cigar all the way from the shaggy foot to the head. The Wolfman is very complex from start to finish. Starting with its first flavor notes of oak, chocolate and slight pepper that develop into a sweet oak, spice and earth with hints of dark coffee and nuts. I chose this to be today’s cigar as today is Halloween. I hope everyone out there has a great and safe Halloween!

Oct 10th 2011 - Tatuaje Black

Today's cigar is the Tatuaje Black Petite Lancero in a 6x38 vitola. Coming from Nicaragua the Tatuaje Black is a very popular cigar amongst all enthusiast new and old. Upon lighting you get hit with a ton of spice that maintains throughout and also features strong notes of leather, cedar and cinnamon. This cigar was chosen as the daily cigar based off of a lot things going on in the cigar news world. There has been some involving Pete Johnson and people very close to him. Cigar feed, cigar feed bag, etc have been doing a lot of false reporting that is based off of nothing. I chose the Tatuaje Black specifically because whenever we have things going on we need to remember that in the grand scheme of things that we can black these things out and focus on the things that mean the most to us. Family, friends and enjoying life.
